Hua Hin is Thailand’s oldest seaside resort and has been loved by Thai people and the royal family for generations. In the 1920s, King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) had Klai Kangwon Palace built here: ‘far from worries’.

The name still fits. Hua Hin is both relaxed and lively, with beaches, nature, culture, markets, golf and fantastic food — all close to Baan Tony.

Beach & sea

The sandy beach stretches for kilometres, inviting you to walk, swim, have lunch by the sea or simply do nothing. For a little more action, try kitesurfing, horse riding or other water sports.

From small local restaurants to atmospheric dining by the sea, Hua Hin offers wonderful food. Fresh fish and seafood naturally take centre stage. In the evening, the Night Market and other markets fill the air with the scents, colours and flavours of Thailand.

Markets, shopping & nightlife

Wander through Hua Hin Night Market or Cicada Market, visit Market Village or BluPort, and finish the day with a cocktail, live music or a quiet dinner by the sea.

Wellness & culture

A traditional Thai massage is part of the experience. So is a temple visit, such as Wat Khao Takiab by the sea. Small encounters, local markets and temples introduce you to the Thailand beyond the beaches and hotels.

Climate

November to February is usually pleasantly warm and relatively dry. March to May is hotter, followed by a greater chance of tropical showers. The green season has its own charm too: nature looks beautiful and the sun often returns after a shower.
