When you arrive at Bangkok Airport, the easiest way to go to Baan Tony is by a private taxi. The taxi driver will wait for you with a sign with your name on it. Usually he will wait for you at the arrivals 3 hall. To get there you go right when leaving the customs and walk straight ahead until you see a big sign with Arrival hall 3. Here look for your name and the taxi driver will escort you to his taxi. The cost are approximately 3.000 baht for a mini-van (up to 8 people) and 2.500 baht for a normal car (3-4 people).
The journey to Hua Hin is approximately 190 kilometers and this will take you, depending on the traffic, around 2,5-3 hours.
Baan Tony is located at a quiet place surrounded by nature. A few other houses are nearby and Baan Tony is situated 11 kilometers from Hua Hin city center. There are numerous possibilities to go from Baan Tony to the city center:
- Tuk Tuk Tan: suitable for 4 persons and will take you to the city center for 300 baht. Usually takes 20 minutes to come to Baan Tony to pick you up.
- Mr. A taxi: suitable for 8-10 people and he will charge the same amount as Tuk Tuk Tan.
- Rent a scooter: There is the possibility to rent a scooter for 150-200 baht a day. The scooters have an engine of 125cc and is suitable for 2 persons.
- Rent a car: For 700-800 baht a day you could rent a car which is suitable for 5 to 6 persons, depending on the type of car.
If you want to go to other places in Thailand such as Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Tao etc. you can easily buy a bus or train ticket at the station. The prices are between 700-1000 baht per person. For example, you want to Chang Mai. Then book a ticket at the bus terminal for approximately 950 baht. You leave Hua Hin around 17:00 pm and you will arrive the next morning around 7:00 am in Chang Mai. It is a very pleasant way of traveling with luxurious busses in which you can sleep well.
